Billing & Payments

  • Invoices are issued via QuickBooks Online on the 1st of each month.
  • Payment is due by the last day of the month.
  • Accepted payment methods include online payment, check, or autopay.
  • To cancel service, please email office@alegropoolcare.com before your next scheduled visit.

Rate Adjustments

  • Periodic rate adjustments may occur due to increased costs of materials, labor, or inflation.
  • Clients who set up autopay through QuickBooks must update it if rates change.
  • Clients with autopay managed by Alegro will see the updated rate automatically.
  • Clients will be notified in advance and may choose to cancel or adjust their service plan.

Product Limits

Annual chemical usage limits apply to ensure fair usage and account for supply chain changes. These limits are sufficient for pools up to 15,000 gallons:

  • Chlorine Tab Pools: 60 tabs/year, 6 lbs stabilizer/year
  • Salt Pools: 6 bags (240 lbs)/year, 6 lbs stabilizer/year
    Usage is reviewed quarterly. Overages are billed quarterly.

Pets & Access

  • Service days are consistent and typically occur in the morning or afternoon.
  • Clients will be notified of any changes due to weather or other circumstances.
  • Pets must be secured on service days. Reminders are not sent before each visit.

Extra Cleaning Charges

  • Additional charges may apply for cleanup due to construction, pressure washing, or storm debris.
  • Charges will be discussed with the client prior to service.

Pool Covers

  • For full-service accounts, pool covers will be removed to perform service.
  • Alegro does not replace covers after service due to liability concerns.

Water Levels

  • Alegro does not add water to pools.
  • If a hose timer is available, it may be turned on, but Alegro is not responsible for failures.
  • Clients should add water the day before service to prevent algae growth.

Algae Treatment

Mustard algae requires two visits:

  • Minor outbreak: $75
  • Severe outbreak: $125

Clients should report cloudy water or green spots immediately to avoid additional charges.

Repairs & Maintenance

  • Repairs (e.g., leak detection, pump replacement) should be completed within 3–4 months.
  • Additional service charges may apply if repairs are delayed.

Service Schedule

Service is billed for a 48-week year, accounting for missed visits due to:

  • Holidays
  • Locked gates or inaccessible areas
  • Unsecured pets
  • Rain or lightning (chemical adjustments still performed)
    Missed visits for these reasons are not refunded.
    Rescheduling for events requires at least one week’s notice; shorter notice may incur a fee.

Holiday Service Terms

  • For weekly accounts, we take one week off (either Christmas or New Year week) for which you’ll be notified in advance.
  • Service during that week can be arranged for an additional charge.
  • Biweekly customers will still be serviced, though your day may shift slightly.
  • If your service day falls on a national holiday, we’ll perform chemical-only service before or after the holiday.
  • Full service on holidays is available upon request for an extra fee.
